The Ray’s Renovation: PHASE I

This project is very special to the both of us. It’s the first major project we took on for another couple. We have grown close to Kate & David, and they gave us full reigns on both the interior design and construction. Did I mention they let us do this whole renovation with a baby on the way?!

With their entire main floor under construction for a few months they understood the huge task at hand. We both have full time jobs, and worked after work and the weekends to get their space done before the baby came! They helped so much throughout the process and we all have shared so many memories in their home. In their new space we completely gutted and started from scratch. We added our take on a classic Chinese Chippendale pattern and turned it into an accent wall in their entry and followed that through their passthrough to the basement. We replaced all the flooring, put a fresh coat of paint on the walls and fireplace, put lighting all throughout, new cabinets, countertops, appliance, and so much more!
